Today was my first day on a bicycle for two weeks, I've been taking time to recover from the intense job of sourcing a new home in the city centre for Bike Rescue. This last weekend I went to Hebden Bridge with my camper van; I sat writing poetry tucked up in the van listening to the thrumming rain, and occasionally looking out at the steep hills around me. I was amazed at how many fit cyclists there were around whizzing around the valley and twiddling up steep inclines..... many years ago ...
